Driving Schools, Instant Instructor Match, Lesson Pack Sales and Test-Readiness Tracker
A learner answers 6 questions, gets matched to a nearby instructor with real availability, buys a lesson pack sized to how far they are from test-ready, and tracks progress against the test syllabus until they pass.
This blueprint is free. Copy the master prompt below, build it with your own time, and the only outlay is a few low-cost tool subscriptions. Use it inside your own business, or sell it to clients. The numbers further down are what you can charge, not what you pay.

Independent driving schools with 3 to 15 instructors, and single-instructor ADIs who are turning learners away. Find them on Google Maps by searching 'driving school' in any town and filtering for schools with 50 or more reviews but a website that only has a phone number and a contact form (no online booking). The best fits have several instructors, sell mostly single lessons, and complain that enquiries go to voicemail while everyone is out on lessons.
Franchise schools with head-office booking systems are a poor fit.
If you sell it, here is the money picture:
The first tile is the value of your client's own jobs, which is the reason they will pay you. The other two tiles are what you charge them.
How it works
A learner opens the school's booking link on their phone and answers 6 questions: postcode, manual or automatic, how many lessons they have had, theory test status, when they want to pass, and when they are free. The app estimates their hours to test-ready from the official 45-hour average adjusted for prior experience, recommends a 10, 20 or 30 hour pack at the school's discount, and shows the earliest realistic test month allowing for the current test queue. It then matches them to the instructor nearest their postcode (driving distance via Google Maps) who teaches their transmission and has the most overlapping free slots, and takes a deposit through Stripe to lock the first lesson.
After every lesson the instructor spends 60 seconds ticking syllabus items and setting each to introduced, prompted, independent or test standard; the learner sees a progress ring, what to practise privately that week, and gets a 'book your test' nudge at 70 percent coverage. SMS reminders, pack-low alerts, lapsed-learner messages and an enquiry recovery sequence run automatically through Twilio. The owner gets a dashboard of enquiries, conversion, pack revenue and late cancellations by instructor.
What to expect
Go-live in a week including the pilot. Schools that already get a steady flow of enquiries typically see 20 to 40 percent of learners who reach the plan screen pay a deposit, and a third or more choose a pack over single lessons once the saving is shown next to the hourly price. Progress tracking mainly shows up as fewer learners disappearing after lesson 3 or
- Caveats: matching depends on instructors keeping availability current (make it a rule in training); the hours estimate is an average and the app says so; test queue lengths vary by centre, so the 'earliest test month' is an estimate. Wrapping the app through AppBuild.DIY matters here because the learner is 17 to 24 and the parent is often the payer: push notifications on the lock screen beat email for reminders, and an App Store listing is what a parent checks before paying a deposit.
