Appliance Repair, AI Photo Diagnosis & Instant Repair Quote Tool
A homeowner photographs their broken appliance and answers a few symptom questions. The tool gives an instant AI diagnosis, an honest repair price range (or a diagnostic-fee-only booking when the photos aren't clear enough to be sure), and lets them book and pay a deposit in under 2 minutes.
This blueprint is free. Copy the master prompt below, build it with your own time, and the only outlay is a few low-cost tool subscriptions. Use it inside your own business, or sell it to clients. The numbers further down are what you can charge, not what you pay.

Independent and small-chain appliance repair companies (fridge, washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven repair) doing $15,000-$60,000/month, who currently quote over the phone or send a technician just to diagnose. Find them via Google Maps searches for 'appliance repair' plus a city name, local Facebook groups for home services, and Google Local Services Ads listings (a category where cost per lead just rose roughly 69% year over year, so an owner-operator is actively feeling the pain of expensive, unqualified phone leads).
If you sell it, here is the money picture:
The first tile is the value of your client's own jobs, which is the reason they will pay you. The other two tiles are what you charge them.
How it works
The customer picks their appliance type and brand, checks off symptoms, uploads 1-3 photos or a short video, and answers one free-text question. A vision-capable AI model analyzes the images against the reported symptoms using a reference cost table, and returns a plain-English diagnosis, a confidence level, a repair-or-replace signal for older units, a safety flag for anything involving gas or exposed wiring, and a specific price range. If the photos aren't clear enough to be confident, the tool is honest about it and routes straight to a diagnostic-fee-only booking instead of guessing.
The customer books an appointment slot and pays a small deposit via Stripe, credited toward the final bill. The business owner gets every submission as a structured lead in their dashboard, with the photos, full AI reasoning, and the ability to adjust the quote before the technician shows up.
What to expect
Expect the AI to correctly identify the general category of issue (won't-start, won't-drain, not-cooling, error-code-specific faults) more reliably than it nails the exact dollar figure in week one - that's exactly why the 2-week supervised pilot exists in the build. Photo quality from real customers varies a lot; the Low-confidence fallback path matters more in practice than it might seem on paper, expect it to trigger on a meaningful share of early submissions until customers get used to what a good photo looks like. Businesses running this report picking up same-day bookings they'd previously lost to whichever competitor picked up the phone first.
