Auto Review Request + Bad Review Interceptor (Universal)

Job completes → AI sends 1-5 rating SMS 90 minutes later → 4-5 stars route to Google review link, 1-3 stars route to private resolution form. Stops bad reviews before they post and 3x's positive review velocity.

    Build it yourself, free

This blueprint is free. Copy the master prompt below, build it with your own time, and the only outlay is a few low-cost tool subscriptions. Use it inside your own business, or sell it to clients. The numbers further down are what you can charge, not what you pay.

    Who you sell it to

Any local business where Google reviews drive customer acquisition. Particularly powerful for: home service trades (roofing, HVAC, plumbing, painting, landscape, pool), restaurants, salons, dental offices, med spas, auto repair, cleaning services. Less applicable to law firms (bar association rules) and B2B services.

The pitch lands hardest with owners who currently have under 50 Google reviews, they're stuck below the visibility threshold and this tool 3-5x's their review velocity in 90 days.

If you sell it, here is the money picture:

The first tile is the value of your client's own jobs, which is the reason they will pay you. The other two tiles are what you charge them.

What your client's own work is worth
3-5x positive review velocity + prevents $5-15k/yr in bad-review revenue loss
    Their revenue, not your fee
    Setup fee you charge
    $1,000
    One-off, paid to you
    Monthly retainer you charge
    $297/mo
    Recurring, paid to you

    How it works

The business owner marks a job complete (manually in admin, or via an automated trigger from QuickBooks, ServiceTitan, Jobber, Stripe payment, or any of the other tools in this library). 90 minutes later, when the customer experience is still fresh but they've had time to settle, the system sends them a simple 1-5 rating SMS. Customers who rate 4-5 stars get routed to a one-tap review submission on Google (or Yelp/Healthgrades/Zillow depending on configuration), with their kind reply pre-loaded into the review composer so they barely have to type.

Customers who rate 1-3 stars get routed to a private internal feedback form, and the business owner gets an URGENT SMS notification within 60 seconds with the customer's contact info and complaint, so the owner can personally call and resolve the issue before it ever becomes a public 1-star review. This single tool typically 3-5x's positive review velocity AND prevents 80%+ of bad reviews from ever reaching public platforms.

    What to expect

This is one of the SIMPLER tools in the library mechanically. The two-stage branching logic is straightforward. The trickiest piece is finding the Google Place ID for the deeplink, most business owners don't know what this is.

Expect Base44 to build in 10-15 minutes. Likely follow-up prompts:

If the Google review deeplink isn't pre-filling the customer's text: "The deeplink isn't pre-loading the customer's positive reply into the Google review composer. Verify the URL format: https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=[PLACE_ID]&review=[URL_ENCODED_TEXT]. The customer_reply_body must be URL-encoded before insertion.

Some characters (apostrophes, ampersands, line breaks) break the URL if not encoded properly."

If reply parsing is missing obvious word-based ratings: "The parser isn't recognizing word-based ratings like 'amazing' or 'terrible'. Expand the keyword library to include: positive (great, amazing, perfect, excellent, love, fantastic, awesome, incredible, best, wonderful), neutral (okay, fine, alright, decent, average), negative (bad, awful, terrible, disappointed, poor, worst, horrible, hate). Match case-insensitive.

Default to LLM call only if no keyword match found."

If owner notifications aren't firing fast enough on bad reviews: "The urgent owner SMS for 1-3 star ratings needs to fire within 60 seconds of the rating being parsed. Currently there's a delay. Check the function call order: parse rating → send positive/negative follow-up to customer → fire owner notification.

The owner notification should be parallel with the customer follow-up, not sequential."

If the rescue dashboard isn't showing the time remaining: "The Rescues tab should show a countdown indicating how much of the 60-minute window remains for the owner to call. Currently it just shows static time. Add a live-updating countdown component."

The biggest gotcha: Google Place ID acquisition. Most owners don't know what this is. The Phase 1 playbook walks through it.

Also: the 90-minute default delay is the right answer for most businesses but VERY wrong for some. Restaurants need 2hr+, dental needs 2hr+, med spa Botox needs 24hr+. The vertical-specific defaults handle this but the operator should verify before launch.
